NBA Championship Futures Betting Odds and Lines

The NBA championship race seems to be very competitive and to even better this, BetUS provides a wide array of NBA futures betting enrollments.

You can now take advantage of our current NBA odds to make bets on which team will win the championship and use it to your advantage for future bets during the cutthroat NBA season.

Make use of expert NBA picks and predictions in a bid to maximize your bets on the top teams of the NBA.

Plenty of Opportunity in Title Market

If one doesn’t think the Oklahoma City Thunder will repeat as NBA champions, the NBA futures odds offer plenty of tasty choices. The Thunder are +135 to win it all again. They have had a strong regular season and are definitely a threat to win it all again.

That said, NBA championship odds see three other teams that are currently less than double digits. The Boston Celtics and San Antonio Spurs are +550. The Denver Nuggets are +800. The first two teams seem to have a strong shot at dethroning OKC. The Nuggets would be more of a riskier proposition.

What About the Eastern Conference-Leading Pistons?

The Detroit Pistons have been in charge of the East for almost the entire season. Heading into the final games of the regular season, Detroit still has the edge on the Celtics and Knicks. That said, guard Cade Cunningham is out with a collapsed lung. Future odds NBA have the Pistons at a stunning +2200. If this team gets Cunningham back and is 100% healthy for the postseason, it is a huge threat not only to win the Finals but to bring the Lawrence O’Brien Trophy to Motown. They are that good.

While looking at other teams that could be considered live long shots, don’t disregard the Knicks (+1400), and the Los Angeles Lakers (+2800). The Knicks are lethal at home, not so much on the road. The Lakers are a different story. They have the trifecta of LeBron James, Luka Doncic, and Austin Reaves. Los Angeles has been playing excellent basketball and can win just as easily on the road as it does at home. If one is looking for strong, long shots to bet on NBA Finals, the Lakers and Pistons fit the model.

Gilgeous-Alexander Looks to Repeat Double

The regular season NBA MVP odds have Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of Oklahoma City as odds-on at -500. It seems like the only thing that could stop him would be another injury that would keep him below the 65-game threshold players need to reach to be considered.

SGA won the regular season MVP last season and went on to capture the Finals MVP Award when Oklahoma City downed Indiana in seven games. Should OKC pull off the repeat, no one would be surprised if Gilgeous-Alexander did, too.

The closest player in odds when it comes to the regular season MVP is Victor Wembanyama. He’s live at +350. Wembanyana can do anything and everything: score, rebound, block shots, dish assists. If he doesn’t win it this season, it won’t be long before he does.

Look for the official NBA Finals MVP odds to track the regular season. That said, should the Lakers or Pistons win it all, players like Doncic or Cunningham would be major threats to capture the award.

The Best of the Rest

If any team other than the ones mentioned were to win the NBA championship, it would be a stunning upset. There are only two teams that have odds meriting serious possible consideration. The Houston Rockets are +6500, and the Minnesota Timberwolves are +4500 in NBA futures odds. That said, they are the fifth and sixth teams in the Western Conference and would have to do a lot of winning away from home to even get to The Finals.

In the East, the Atlanta Hawks and Charlotte Hornets have been playing great basketball of late. They still have future odds NBA of +15000 and +12500, respectively. They would be absolute shockers to capture the title. Make sure to keep up with the always-changing NBA futures odds at BetUS, America’s favorite sportsbook.
